SCGA CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
89th SCGA AMATEUR NET CHAMPIONSHIP:
The Golf Club at Terra Lago (North & South), Indio
April 3-4, 2023
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 holes; net stroke play.
- Entrants will be divided evenly into flights based on Handicap Index after entries close.
- Playing Handicaps will be determined based on 95% of each player’s Course Handicap.
- The SCGA Championship & Golf Operations Committee reserves the right to adjust a player’s course handicap at any time prior to or during the competition.
- 156 players will compete in this championship.
Monday, April 3: Round 1 (18 holes)
Tuesday, April 4: Round 2 (18 holes)
All players will participate in an 18-hole, net stroke-play qualifying round.

Tuesday, March 7: Santa Barbara GC, Santa Barbara
Thursday, March 9: San Vicente GR, Ramona
Friday, March 10: Recreation Park GC, Long Beach
Monday, March 13: El Camino CC, Oceanside
Tuesday, March 14: Brookside GC (Course #1), Pasadena
Wednesday, March 15: Morongo GC at Tukwet Canyon (Champions), Beaumont
Friday, March 17: Sepulveda GC (Encino), Los Angeles
Monday, March 20: Los Serranos GC (North), Chino Hills
Thursday, March 23: Temecula Creek GC (Oaks/Creek), Temecula
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs with an established Handicap Index who are members of a current SCGA member club. All entrants must be a member of a club that is currently certified under World Handicap System requirements.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 11, 2023
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, February 19, 2023
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played will be emailed and posted on scga.org/amnet after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $140
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
